After successfully operating Designs Ala Fleur Florist for the past 17 years, Christina Mueller decided to combine flowers with food. Her son, Brian Smith, graduated from culinary school in 2004 and in January of 2008 they opened Garden Cafe Ala Fleur on historic Main Street in downtown St. Charles, Missouri.
The menu includes a wide selection of Panini sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, and wraps. Daily specials are offered as well as burgers and hot dogs for those summertime cravings. Bread pudding is among many homemade desserts made fresh daily that make the Garden Cafe a hot spot on Main Street. The Garden Cafe also carries an eclectic variety of imported beers and a wine selection sure to please every taste.
